No. RustMart is a completely external companion app that does not inject code, modify game files, or interact with the Rust process in any way. It works exclusively through the official Rust+ API, the same API Facepunch provides for their own mobile app, and public Steam data. Because it never touches the game client, it cannot trigger EAC (Easy Anti-Cheat) or any in-game protection. It's no different from using the official Rust+ mobile app.
RustMart connects to Facepunch's official Rust+ companion API, the exact same backend powering the official Rust+ mobile app. All map data, team positions, event timers, vending machine listings, and death events come straight from Facepunch's own servers. Player tracking additionally uses public Steam profile data already visible to anyone on Steam.
Yes. Because RustMart only communicates over the network via the Rust+ API, it can run on any Windows PC on your local network: a laptop, a second PC, or a second monitor setup. The minimap, player tracking, alarms, and all other features work perfectly even when running on a different machine than the one running Rust.
